The Opportunity The Arias Group () at CZ Biohub San Francisco explores the molecular mechanisms of virus-host interactions in cells infected with medically relevant viruses. Our overarching objective is to reveal molecular dependencies that can be targeted for developing broad-spectrum antivirals. We actively collaborate with virology, cell biology, genomics, proteomics, microscopy, and data science teams across CZ Biohub San Francisco We invite a dynamic and dedicated Scientist to enrich our team, someone keen to explore the intricate molecular interplay within virus-infected cells. This role is a confluence of multiomics analysis, comparative virology, and bioinformatics to uncover the mechanisms viruses use to hijack cellular machinery and identify potential targets for antiviral therapies.
