Job description : A private family in Chelsea, NY seeks to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join a household team of Housekeepers to help clean and organize their home in NYC. The ideal candidate must be hard-working and passionate about providing excellent service and support to the principals and guests. Responsibilities : Full-charge housekeeping responsibilities; museum-quality cleaning and organizing Laundry and ironing of clothing and linens, caring for fine garments Organizing closets and wardrobe management Travel packing/unpacking Household organization (closets, pantries, cabinets, etc.) Hands-on care for furniture; polishing fine surfaces, silver and fine china Assisting with special events and dinners Help with dinner service (setting up tables for formal dinners, and assisting with meal service).
