Job Description The Patient Feeding Host/hostess position, under direct supervision of food service and clinical nutrition leadership, performs routine food service preparation related tasks designed to support our production, patient feeding, retail dining programs. Appropriately identify regular menus, in CBORD to properly distribute trays to patients Orient patients and patients' families to Food and Nutrition Programs (CBORD/GETWELL NETWORK) to ensure we meet the patients' needs. Delivers patient trays to the clinical area. Escalates customer concerns to a supervisor or manager when appropriate, otherwise handles customer concerns appropriately, in a self-directed fashion. Patient Tray Production Assist with the preparation of patient meal trays Prepares, portions, assembles and labels patient and non-patient food items. Stocks and maintains patient feeding starter station and storage areas Keeps the Cold Cart Storage reach-ins clean and organized Assists with Pantry standard; inventorying, ordering assembly, delivery and stocking. Must also label, date and ,rotate pantry stock on the patient care floors Communicates with Kitchen and diet Tech staff via Voalte or open communication Customer Service Works collaboratively with clinical support team members in order to provide the highest quality service to patients, families and clinical team members. Performs daily opening and closing procedures. Checks out all team members, ensuring that all tasks have been completed for by each team member working a schedule.
