Job Description

Actively Seek Out New and Repeat Event Sales Opportunities

  • Generate leads and sales revenue for events based on fiscal sales budget by month
  • Support sales initiatives through personal rolodex, research, cold calls, marketing interface, communications and sourcing
  • Attend networking events to further the exposure and business
  • Produce accurate and timely reports that include the reporting of appointments and business leads
  • Partner across departments in an effort to support the team in consistent execution of systems and processes to deliver products/services to restaurant's brand standards
  • Demonstrate financial comprehension of space's budget and P&L
  • Present event content, leads, conversion rate, and departmental strategy during weekly, mandatory meetings


Create and Maintain Partnerships to Build Repeat Clientele

  • Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify business partnerships
  • Passionately and independently manage on-site and offsite events, allocating resources to effectively manage all aspects of event production, inclusive of planning, budgeting, execution and post-event reconciliation. Events include significant industry events, custom client events, buy outs and VIP dinners as well as internal offsites
  • Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into The Ragtader/Bo Peep and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams
  • Attend Sales events, as required - on-site sales representation at scheduled events
  • Negotiate rates/packages with corporate clients
  • Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner


Control All Social Media Platforms

  • Consult on design; develop and implement creative local marketing channels for The Ragtrader & Bo Peep as well as sister properties
  • Manage and oversee marketing collateral including but not limited to, event materials and loyalty programming
  • Oversee company websites and external platforms
  • Holiday programming (to be delegated as deemed appropriate)
  • Database management inclusive of Open Table, Bento Box and Gather Event software databases along with subscriber lists for each restaurants mailer


Salary: $75,000 - $115,000
