Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage a full spectrum of financial accounting, human resource, insurance and administrative matters

  • Prepare monthly and statutory financial statements including financial analysis

  • Ensure compliance with corporate regulations, all types of taxes and local regulatory requirements

  • Enhance and maintain sound financial systems and internal controls

  • Liaise with auditor, tax agents, corporate secretary, banks and regulatory bodies

  • Analyzes financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data; recommending actions taking into account company's goals and financial standing by providing alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance

  • Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management

  • Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements

  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis

  • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models

  • Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts

  • Frequent travel required, per portfolio needs. Salaried position is expected to participate in regular after-office hours communication with our Asia HQ


JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent. CPA is preferred but not essential

  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of accounting and auditing with supervisory experience

  • Strong in internal control review

  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications

  • Highly committed

  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills

  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis and information analysis

  • Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws

  • Experience in Residential Property environments is preferred
