Sportservice has been responsible for the stadium's concessions, suites and retail since 2010. The Opportunity

The Assistant Concessions Manager candidate will assist the Concessions Manager in overseeing the Concessions Department operation on a profitable basis. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and supervise activities of employees, supervisors and volunteer group members.
  • Schedule and conduct Team Member interviews and hire based on the consistent message and goal of the department.
  • Focus on training associates in company policies and procedures to ensure quality employee performance and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations regarding alcohol, sanitation, payroll, employment and EEO.
  • Verify sales reporting and cash handling and prepare various cost and operational reports as required.
  • Work appropriately to keep all locations clean, neat, and organized at all times.
  • Provide and administer an effective system for cash handling and maintenance of inventory levels.

The Assistant Concessions Manager should have:

  • 1-3 years management or supervisory experience in the food service industry, preferably with prior concessions experience.
  • Knowledge of general business accounting policy and procedures.
  • Strong commitment to both the client and guest experience.
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions.
  • Self-motivated creativity and innovative ideas to increase concession stand operational efficiency.
  • Valid ServeSafe Certification or willingness to take the course within six months of hire if not certified.
  • Demonstrated initiative, leadership and team building skills are essential.
