Job Description Please note, this position is located at Solitude Mountain Resort in Solitude, UT Seasonal (Seasonal) JOB TITLE: Banquet Bartender DIVISION: Food and Beverage REPORTS TO: Banquet Manager LOCATION: Solitude Mountain Resort CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time / Seasonal / Hourly POSITION: We currently have openings for Banquet Bartenders for our summer operations within the Food & Beverage Department. As a Banquet Bartender, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service while serving a variety of classic and signature cocktails, as well as beer and wine, to our clients during private events. Your duties will include warmly greeting customers, understanding their preferences, addressing inquiries, offering menu recommendations, and expertly preparing and serving beverages. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be professional, friendly, social, and outgoing Must keep a clean and organized environment Reliable and punctual Must have knowledge of or experience of the POS system, bar equipment, and mixing drinks Must be able to work at a fast pace, multi-task, and accurately recall information Sips n Tips Certification - required Food Handlers Permit - required JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Collect and serve customers drink orders using a POS system Create and maintain a comfortable, friendly atmosphere Ensure customer satisfaction Maintain a clean and organized bar Maintain beer, wine, liquor, and food inventory Offer recommendations or suggestions Verify IDs of any customer that appears under the age of 35 Log and track berg/clicker numbers daily (including spillage, "mis clicks", etc.) Balance the bank at the end of each shift Cashier duties using POS system Assist guests with information about the resort and local area Build a good rapport with banquet/wedding guests Perks of Working Here: Work & Play in the Mountains: Embrace the stunning Wasatch Mountains.
