JOBSUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Cabana Host is to make cabana reservations and welcome guests to the pool complex. Assist with any and all customer needs; maintain cleanliness of the pool deck i.e. rafts, dirty towels and bathrooms. Upsell and book daybeds and cabanas. Retail sales i.e. rafts, sundries, magazines and news papers. To protect the glass items and unauthorized items entering the pool complex. Follow and maintain all SNHD rules and regulations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: All Cabana Host will report to pre-shift briefing in full Uniforms. The Cabana Host will familiarize themselves with the names of their guests and requested accommodations. The Cabana Host will be responsible for making cabana reservations and up selling amenities for the pool Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly needed for cleaning and stocking work. Ability to climb ladders as needed for obtaining items located on high shelves Excellent customer service skills Remains alert to all activity occurring within their assigned section of the pool area throughout their shift. Treats customers with courtesy and respect at all times. Remains appropriately groomed as stated in the departmental guidelines appearance code. Notifies the manager immediately of any problems at the pool requiring any extra ordinary attention (i.e., guest injury, guest employee conflict, etc.).
