The successful candidate will be able to assist the chef in preparation of all cooking and culinary functions. Main Objective: To assist the chef in preparation of all cooking and culinary functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Hands on preparation of high volume, high quality cuisine. Applicant needs to have: above average knife skills, appreciation and knowledge of quality ingredients, able to accomplish assigned tasks with little or no direct supervision, basic knowledge of soups, sauces, butchering and baking, as well as the ability to do above tasks in a clean, organized, efficient, and sanitary manner. Summary: The Cook is a vital part of the restaurant operations. The Cook adheres to the Company's recipes, portions, cooking methods, policies and procedures.
