Essential Job Functions: To provide excellent customer service, To maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety. Ensure high standards and efficiency of work Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues Prepare and service all food items for a la carte and or buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards Assists in the cleaning of kitchen area and general maintenance of equipment and inventory control. Maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilage Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment. Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards. Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Other duties as assigned Flexibility to work various schedules as business demands including nights, weekends and holidays.
