Job Description

Search underway for a Sales Director to join our client, a growing alcoholic beverage company. We are seeking a driven and result-oriented seasoned professional who will be responsible for building and managing a highly motivated, engaged and effective Sales and Marketing Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent attraction, identification and selection, coaching and retention
  • Developing and leading sales trainings to improve skill sets, add capabilities and strengthen effectiveness of each team member
  • Meeting quarterly and annual sales target
  • Establishing sales goals and creating incentive programs for territories and personnel.
  • Performing revenue forecasts and win/loss reports that illustrate company's overall performance against quota
  • Creating sales campaigns focused on communicating and nurturing relationships with customers and driving repeat sales
  • Developing presentations for clients and partners, conducting market analysis and devising strategies for generating new business
  • Building a positive organizational and team culture including recognition and reward systems that align individual's focus with the direction of the company's goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree; MBA is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a sales management capacity in the adult beverage industry - focused on spirits/liquor
  • Expert working knowledge of P&L and budget management, knowledge of industry regulations, and market trends and competition
  • He/she should be incredibly dynamic and able to grow the company's business with a focus on the future and creation of value
  • Demonstrable, proven ability to lead, coach and develop top level teams
  • Strong bilingual (a plus) interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrable excellence in retail execution and distributor management, through key relationships and value-added insight
  • Understanding of cross functional interdependencies between marketing, sales and supply to deliver outstanding execution
  • A proven ability to forecast revenue accurately and ability to define and monitor critical sales pipeline indicators
  • Must have extremely vertical industry distribution relationships in the following states but not limited to: CA, NY, IL, FL, TX, AZ, CO
