FT Maintenance Technician I

We are currently looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of all Smith Ranch mechanical systems, including fans, cooling towers, pumps/motors, as well as all plumbing equipment. Also is responsible for cleanliness and safety of mechanical areas in buildings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
4. Maintains pool, spa and streams as required.
5. Receives and fulfills work order requests from employees and residents, to include minor electrical, plumbing and light construction.
7. Adheres strictly to safety rules, regulations and safe work practices. Ensures proper level of cleanliness and orderliness.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Experience in maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment. 2. Basic refrigeration knowledge. 3. "On call" availability on nights, evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotating basis, and availability to respond to emergency needs. 4. Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and walk, stand, bend and stoop frequently. 5. Good balance to work at elevations above six feet. 6. Ability to drive electric carts. 7. Valid driver's license with acceptable record; ability to drive stick shift vehicle.
SCHEDULE: · Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
