An award-winning Northern New Jersey banquet and wedding venue is looking for an EXPERIENCED full time chef.Full time position with weekly pay. Due to the nature of our business 80% of our events take place on weekends although the balance of your workweek will include; kitchen management, staffing and scheduling, prepping and menu development.
We are looking to IMMEDIATELY hire a TALENTED and ORGANIZED Banquet Chef who is SKILLED at developing specs and enforcing compliance to specs, recipes and standard operating procedures.

Working hands-on planning, prepping and cooking for large events.Assist our Executive Chef in the ordering and inventory process.Working the line at any station.Ensure quality, creativity and presentation are consistently at the highest levels.
Minimum of two years experience as a Banquet/Sous Chef in a fast-paced catering environment.Ability to work under pressure and multi task at the direction of management.Culinary management experience.Have an POSITIVE, ENERGETIC ENTHUSIASTIC AND PROFESSIONAL demeanor.Ability to LEAD, follow and show RESPECT for all co-workers .Experience working in a fast paced, hands-on environment.
Base Salary commensurate with verified experience and /or degrees accreditations.
