Le Marais Bakery is looking for a pastry assistant to join our growing Pastry Team. Offering excellent pay based on experience, in our pastry commissary kitchen at 1138 Sutter Street, and the opportunity to work with the best Bay Area ingredients. Great environment with excellent potential for growth and mastering viennoiserie and pastry techniques.
Baking or pastry experience is very helpful as you will work with lamination, scaling, mixing, baking, creating pastries, while maintaining mise en place in a well-organized, clean working environment and cooperating with all members of the kitchen team.
We are a growing, high end bakery with high volume and a broad product range of artisanal French viennoiserie and patisserie made with natural levain, French butter and chocolates. Each week, we deliver fresh fruits and vegetables to our pastry kitchen direct from local farms and bake everything from scratch daily. We welcome and encourage creativity on our team, particularly as we develop new products for our Williams Sonoma pastry line.
