Job Summary As a Snowflake Data Governance Steward/Eng. 3 on FreeWheel's Trust and Standards Tools & Insights team, you will leverage a dynamic skill set in our rapidly growing Snowflake Environment. Job Description Core Responsibilities Design new software and Data Engineering applications in the Snowflake Environment Displays in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills and their application in Snowflake and related technologies. Develop advanced Snowflake SQL and ETL code for support of FreeWheel's BI Systems Implement Snowflake standards and best practices. Implement advanced data controls (RBAC/ABAC) in Snowflake and in internal FreeWheel Tools. Work closely with internal stakeholders and business partners to understand their needs and transform them into functioning solutions. Employ platform best practices to deliver world-class solutions. Conduct regular presentations both in person and remotely to all levels of the FreeWheel organization on Data Governance and Snowflake best practices. Author and review Data Governance and Snowflake standards and best practices in written form. Assist Trust and Standards Management in development of standards, guidelines, and best practices for Snowflake and general Data Governance at FreeWheel. Displays in-depth knowledge of and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills. Presents and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal audiences. Displays knowledge of and ability to apply, project management skills. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
