The Radisson Hotel is looking for an experienced and reliable Prep Cook to join our team! The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing food ingredients prior to cooking. This includes washing, peeling, slicing, dicing and portioning items according to recipes and production needs. You will ensure our cooks have all components ready for final meal assembly. Position Information: Part-Time position, 16.00-17.00 hourly rate. Key Responsibilities : Wash, peel, cut and properly store fruits, vegetables and other ingredients Prepare batters, doughs, fillings and other prep items Portion and stock ingredients for daily production Follow all recipes and prep procedures consistently Maintain an organized, clean and sanitary prep area Label, date and rotate all food products properly Assist cooks/chefs with additional prep tasks as needed Comply with all food safety standards and regulations Requirements: Prior experience as a Prep Cook, Kitchen Porter or similar role Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation methods Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Excellent sense of smell and taste to inspect food quality Current Food Handler's certificate Available to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays Join our team and help prepare delicious meals for our guests!
