Follows sanitation programs/schedules including daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules and sanitation inspections. Keeps food items from possible contamination and spoilage with proper covers, dating/labeling, storage and by keeping food at safe temperatures. Assists with the receiving, inspection and storage of supplies. Removes trash from all kitchen areas and monitors all garbage cans and garbage sites related to dietary services.
