Role and Responsibilities: Consistently monitors the temperatures of hot and cold foods according to food safety standards and documents results. Completes appropriate forms such as food temperature logs, sanitizer concentration logs and food waste logs. Prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner daily in accordance with menu, recipes, allergies and dietary restrictions of individuals. Cleans storage, food preparation and serving areas to maintain sanitary conditions. Wash and dry dishes, take out trashes and broken-down boxes, clean dining area and stock items in serving areas as needed. Performs routine deep clean of kitchen area including sweeping/mopping kitchen floor, cleaning inside and out of reach-ins, cleaning steam table, fryolator, etc. Assists in guaranteeing a high level of health and safety, cleanliness and food preparation that ensures safe working practices are followed.
