Job description

Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of custodial operations. Your primary goal is to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for employees, visitors, and clients. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail. And to drive the growth of the custodial services division within the company.

Key Responsibility

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among staff.
  • Schedule and coordinate work assignments to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing effective solutions.
  • Specify the types of cleaning tasks, frequency, and any additional services offered (e.g., carpet cleaning, window washing).
  • Provide details about the number of staff required for the job, including their roles and responsibilities.
  • Break down the costs for different services if applicable.
  • Responsible for the types and cost of cleaning supplies and equipment for each project.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) that will be used to measure the quality of our services.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing
  • Supervise and lead a team of custodial staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement custodial procedures, protocols, and standards to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Oversee daily cleaning operations, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and waste disposal.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations and implement best practices for custodial operations.
  • Develop and manage the custodial budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenses related to staffing, equipment, and supplies.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising the quality of services.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality assessments of custodial services to ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Address and resolve issues related to cleanliness, safety, or any other concerns promptly.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to procure cleaning supplies and equipment at competitive prices.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of products and services.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs for custodial equipment to ensure proper functionality and longevity.
  • Responsible for Landscaping, Snow Removal Services, and other facility support services
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain open communication channels with other departments, building occupants, and management to address any custodial-related concerns.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on custodial operations.
