Greater Vancouver area, BC Permanent, full time, shifts, weekends Salary: $16.75/hr Skills requirements: good English, strong customer service skills Education: some secondary school Experience: Previous experience as a Barista or coffee service industry would be an asset but not required. We will provide the training. Main duties: Describe menu items to customers and suggest products to buy; Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions; Serve customers at counter, take orders and manage cash register; Receive and process payments; Use equipment to prepare hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees or teas, following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques; Warm up simple food (baked goods and sandwiches) and package take-out food; Maintain working area, appliances and utensils clean and in good repair; Set up, stock, and maintain work areas; Make latte art.
