Client's Commercial Services organization is comprised of over 4,000 team members driving our sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions. These functions are the core of Hilton's commercial engine and critical to Hilton's ability to drive profitable growth.
The Global Revenue Management team is responsible for predicting consumer demand and optimizing hotel inventory and price availability. The goal of our team is to maximize our company's revenue growth by selling the right products to the right customer at the right time for the right price.

The Revenue Management Hotel Openings - Americas Contractor supports and delivers revenue management-related initiatives for new and converting hotels within the Americas.
You will facilitate communication between Hilton corporate teams, brand teams, hotel and management company personnel, Global Distribution Management, Revenue Management Analysis Support and Distribution Operations on the creation of room types, rate structures, negotiated rates, packages and promotions, 3rd party distribution channels, core pricing for all corporate marketing programs, and the proper configuration and implementation of the GRO revenue management system. You will also serve as a subject-matter lead for Hilton's revenue management strategies, reports and systems, and partner with hotels to ensure they are appropriately trained and have the optimal strategies in place prior to opening.
Furthermore, you will build and configure all Revenue Management systems appropriately by liaising with appropriate partners across the organization. You should have knowledge of systems and reporting, including but not limited to, Roadmap, New Hotel Rate Binder, OnQ R&I, OnQ PiM, OnQ FM, Content Management, Amadeus/TravelClick, GRO, STR Global, Cognos and other reporting. You will also be responsible for learning and understanding the brand cultures, standards, and strategies while also participating in Brand as well as Owned/Managed and Franchise RM team initiatives.
More specifically, you will:
Prepare and lead pre-conversion/opening meetings, WebEx/MS Teams sessions and GRO WebEx/MS Teams sessions.
Oversee the development of new hotel databases, including room types and rates in all distribution channels.
Submit GRO configuration file, activate extracts, set up Limited Data Build, and generate projection and booking pattern tools.
Review and analyze GRO strategy effectiveness for openings.
Craft written reports and maintain new hotel workflows.
Ensure hotel opening tasks are scheduled in conjunction with other project resources and dependencies.
Form positive partnerships with hotels, management companies, Brand Opening Team, RAMP Team, Global Distribution Management, RMCC, GDM, Distribution Operations and corporate associates to ensure the effective delivery of the hotel opening plan.
Co-ordinate activities to ensure all systems are configured appropriately and all required training and development is completed by hotel team members.
Provide direction to hotel team members to establish work priorities and achieve the objectives of the opening plan. This includes ensuring they understand current revenue management standards and policies.
Assist with account diagnostics process and validate conclusions for negotiated business and on-line sales strategies.
Effectively use CRS, GDS, GRO, Cognos and other key database tools to determine/ implement/supervise accurate selling strategies and make recommendations to capitalize on revenue opportunities.
Assist hotel team members in building a deep understanding of sell strategy and key areas of revenue management.
Partner with the GDM to establish standard methodologies and communicate changing requirements for the New Hotel Rate Binder.
Partner with the Ramp Up Support team to maximize hotel ramp up.
Partner with Brand Openings team to ensure global alignment in the pre-opening process.
Participate in Hilton global revenue management specific projects and initiatives.
Assess performance to ensure success and take corrective actions.
Validate hotel team members, ownership/management company team members have access to all required systems, tools, and reports.
In addition, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of the company.
In this role, you will:
Support the Director, Regional Directors and Managers of Revenue Management Hotel Openings Americas
Prepare and facilitate Revenue Management training and presentations for hotels, ownership groups, management companies, or Corporate Team Members on revenue management procedures, standards, and principles
Ensure that all revenue management related systems are optimally built and maintained, including CRS, OnQ PM/Opera, GRO, and OnQ FM. Employ the assistance of the General Manager, Director/Manager of Revenue Management, Director of Sales, Director of Front Office, and other team members as needed.
Participate in system development projects and sponsor technology enhancements for RM.
Participate and provide input in team meetings, conference calls and initiatives.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Three (3) years working in Revenue Management
Two (2) years of supervisory experience
Adaptable experience with travel industry reservation systems and hotel property management systems
Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office tools
Approximately 30% travel expected
It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
Hilton branded hotel revenue management experience
Multiple brands and hotel experience
Experience using SQL Database to analyze data and create reporting
