Job Description

The Food Service Director will lead a team of 25+ direct reports and will report to the Chief Operating Officer. As a Food Service Director, you will be responsible for assisting with the overall success of a fresh, never frozen food product. The Director is required to assist in all phases of planning, ordering, inventory, food preparation and production, packaging, sanitation, and HACCP compliance. Daily monitor and ensure food quality, quantity, freshness, and presentation meet food standards while maintaining high productivity levels. Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health. Develops and implements procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment. Oversees all aspects of ordering and inventory, ensuring company standards and controls are followed. Working hours: 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM Skills: Nice to haves: HACCP knowledge and experience. Strong knowledge of ingredients and cooking techniques. Thorough understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies. Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and other effective manufacturing and distribution techniques. Education: No Degree Required Experience: 1-4 years Qualifications: Must haves: 1 to 3 years of operations supervisory experience. Supervisory, leadership, training, management, problem-solving, and coaching skills. ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred. Knowledge of food and industry trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, safety, food cost controls, and presentation. Ability to set up and distribute production sheets.
