Group Benefits Specialist

Our client, located on the northeast side of Indianapolis, is seeking a spectacular Group Benefits Specialist to join their team. This position, in coordination with the Group Benefits team, is responsible for client and operational support of group benefit products to credit unions throughout Indiana and Kentucky and for the annual renewal process and regulatory filings.

The position will pay in the range of $75 - 85K depending on experience. A hybrid home/office work schedule, strong benefits package, and great culture make this a highly desirable role!

The Group Benefits Specialist will:

• provide client and operational support of group benefit products to credit unions throughout Indiana and Kentucky including annual renewal process and regulatory filings
• conduct inside sales of additional group benefits products to existing clients
• manage vendor relationships
• provide benefit administration system data verification and report generation
• gather data for proposal preparation
• assist with website and database maintenance for all association insurance products

The Group Benefits Specialist needs:

• 2+ years experience in Group Benefits and client support
• Proficiency with Excel, including data reconciliation and analytics
• Team player with strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with benefit administration systems (ideally Plansource) and knowledge of current market trends in healthcare and employee benefits
• High level of integrity and work ethic

Other Information

Periodic travel is necessary from time to time to visit client organizations throughout Indiana.
