The Banquet Porter will be responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and appearance of the hotel meeting rooms according to sales contract and company standards. This includes the physical set up and breakdown of the function room equipment, tables, chairs, etc. and the safe handling and storage of all banquet equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and set-up Rooms according to the Banquet Event Orders.
- Consult with the Banquet Manager on such items as serving arrangements and additional employees and equipment as needed.
- Work with the Banquet Manager to ensure the room is ready for the event.
- Clean and maintain the back of the house area.
- Inspect equipment for cleanliness and damage, contact Environmental Services when more cleaning and / or repair of equipment is needed.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Assist in room set up, according to customer request and specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of B.E.O's, if needed.
- Quickly respond to guest requests in a timely and friendly manner.
- Responsible for knowing all events in the property.
- Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Display sensitivity to Native American Culture.
- Operate within the parameters of the Little Creek Human Resource Policies, Departmental Policies and all other applicable regulations.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- Available to work varying shifts, as needed.
- Basic computer skills necessary, proficient in Microsoft Work, Microsoft Excel
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission.
- Requires a valid Washington State Driver License and must be insurable on the Tribe's insurance
- Current Washington State Food Worker Permit
