Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Website Merchandiser to support the Digital Merchandise Team in launching new product. The Assistant Website Merchandiser will own the product photo process, balancing priorities with cross functional partners and ensuring that product launches correctly and on time. They are responsible to constantly review their products and competitors for ways to improve the customer shopping experience online.


• Create and manage seasonal shortlists for ecommerce photo studio, working constantly with photo studio teams

• Attends product photo shoots at Industry City studio to provide merchant feedback and ensure photo style guide is followed

• Collect product photography feedback and communicate callouts with studio team

• Pulls weekly and ad hoc ecommerce reports using Adobe Analytics

• Continually review and optimize product photography, copy, and overall customer experience online

• Own the product launch process and calendar, working with cross functional partners to launch new product on time

• Work with buying teams to create seamless online shopping experiences for new product initiatives

• Log and test website bugs and issues

• Manage product attribution for all new products

• Conduct competitive analysis to inform assortment and site experience opportunities


• 2-3 years Merchandising experience

• Strong Excel skills

• Financial acumen

• Ability to read sales trends and apply learnings

• Passion for product

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Strong understanding of brand customer and aesthetic

• Experience in a cross-functional role
