We are currently searching for a Product Development Associate to focus on adding and managing the products in our growing line of consumables. This role reports to the Head of Product and works closely with Product Development, Graphic Design, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales teams. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, fast-learning and highly organized. This is a fast paced position and you must possess the ability to "go with the flow" as your day to day is constantly changing. This is a full-time position in a dynamic, creative environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Source the best suppliers and materials for new and existing products
  • Effectively negotiate pricing and quality to maximize cost savings and ensure competitive pricing
  • Manage timelines of projects from end to end and help ensure projects are delivered on time
  • Own and be the main point person for item record set up, integrity, and accuracy
  • Partner closely with the Head of Product to gather and vet new innovation and inspiration for high volume/revenue product ideas
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects at different stages, driving each project from conception to post market-launch reviews
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team, interacting regularly with other Product Managers, Sales Leads, Marketing, Graphic Design and Industrial Design teams.
  • Research, gather, analyze and identify the market needs to ideate, develop, and prototype new product opportunities and concepts
  • Run product and brand reports, understand brand metrics, and monitor key performance indicators - you'll want to know how the brand's products are doing, and how to improve them using data
  • Support the Head of Product in new business strategy with data driven analysis
  • Work with the supply chain team to optimize the quality and costs of existing consumable product line

& Additional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in project management or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of food and beverage industry, ingredient functionalities, quality assurance and manufacturing
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and effectively managing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Meticulous organization and attention to detail - you don't let anything slip through the cracks
  • Adaptability - you should thrive in an environment where priorities and roles are constantly shifting to meet market demands
  • An unshakably positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Product or menu development in the food and beverage, or related industry (1+ years)
  • Product management or supply chain management in the food and beverage, or related industry (1+ years)
  • Experience working with co-packers
  • Experience with FDA regulation related to food and beverage product with ability to gather and disseminate documentation
  • Culinary & mixology experience is a plus
