IPIC Theaters LLC is announcing the development of our newest restaurant concept located in Midtown Atlanta, GA at the reimagined Colony Square. Born from the traditional cuisine of northern Italy, Serena Pastificio specializes in authentic culinary creations with a heavy focus on fresh pasta dishes. Restaurant Manager:

Accountable for managing restaurant operations including food and beverage quality and guest experience, while following all IPIC Theaters policies and procedures. Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate with team and support high standards of guest experience.

Responsibilities:

Work with Restaurant General Manager and Sr. General Manager to create positive guest experiences; run pre-shift meetings to maintain guest focus at all times. Oversee guest relations, resolve guest issues, and recognize staff for outstanding service delivery.

Work with Restaurant General Manager and Kitchen Management to ensure quality expectations are met in food and beverage preparation and presentation; focus on motivating cooks to prepare menu items in consistent manner.

Manage performance of Supervisors and staff members on shift; hold others accountable to Serena Pastificio standards and expectations; provide timely, supportive coaching when needed.

Manage each shift with comprehensive, detailed approach to food and beverage quality, safety, building maintenance, repairs, and sanitation/cleanliness.

Participate in hiring hourly restaurant staff; provide ongoing, hands-on training, mentoring and coaching for staff.

Perform daily opening, closing, operational, and administrative duties with comprehensive, detailed approach to safety, building maintenance, repairs, and sanitation/cleanliness.

Build and maintain a supportive, team environment with strong collaboration focused on guest experiences and genuine hospitality.

Leadership Requirements:

Provide leadership to kitchen team, using interpersonal and communication skills to teach, influence, and encourage others.

Identifies the developmental needs of others by assessing skills and results; teach team members to prepare menu items with complete training on ingredients, preparation methods, and unique tastes.

Create a strong team by communicating a common purpose, empowering team members to contribute their best, and recruiting candidates with a variety of skills and styles.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, self-confidence, and professional maturity.

Good listener, patient in stressful situations and genuine in desire to resolve issues.

Qualified to demonstrate proper preparation/cooking techniques for junior team members in need of hands-on instruction; firm but fair in providing feedback and communicating expectations.

Demonstrate sound financial/business decision making using honesty and high integrity at all times.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree Preferred, preferably in Business Administration or Hospitality Management.

3 years of experience in large, complex restaurant operation with strong focus on high volume hospitality.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, self-confidence, and professional maturity.

Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic.

Position will require frequent standing, bending/kneeling, lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
