Due to recent expansions, we are looking for a Centralized Assistant Controller for our Northeast and Mid Atlantic Region. The remote base location for this role is flexible, ideally within the Northeast or Mid Atlantic region. Reporting to the Regional Controller, this position prepares financial statements and accounting services for Centralized hotels. Duties include but are not limited to:Provide quality, value-added professional service that meets or exceeds our internal customer's value expectations. Provide day to day accounting related support to centralized hotels to include:Help with proper invoice codingSupport with PMS/POS/Profit Sage MappingM3 system training including AP and running reportsLabor report support Weekly report completion supportInsure timely reportingHelp monitor iBuy adherenceCoordinate accounting processes with M3Work with M3 to insure proper coding and format is maintained in balance sheet reconciliationsWork with properties on release of AP checks with coordination of edit listsParticipate in the prelim and final P reviewsParticipation in the annual budgeting processRequirementsFour year college degree, preferably with a major in accounting requiredExperience in performing accounting for hotelsExperience reconciling cash and other balance sheet accounts.Working knowledge of GAAP concepts.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
