You will assists the Nursing department to insure the needs of residents and guests are being met. This position is required to transition into a CNA/STNA role upon completion of a training class.
You will join an experienced, hard-working team that values communication and strong teamwork abilities.
Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine resident needs.
Distributes linens, makes beds.
Serves and collects food trays, performs tray monitor to those residents who are alert and do not require assistance.
Passes fluids, nourishments to residents who do not require assistance.
Transports residents to meals and activities, using wheelchair or wheeled cart.
Provides non-resident care including but not limited to:
Cleans resident rooms/closets/drawers.
Empties soiled linen and garbage carts.
Cleaning soiled utility areas.
Cleaning shower and whirlpool rooms.
Cleaning kitchen areas on the nursing unit.
Complete the personal inventory sheet with all admissions.
Report all accidents and incidents immediately to the charge nurse.
Performs other duties assigned.
Pay starts at $10/hr.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Graduate/GED
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
