As part of the crew, youll get to work with fresh ingredients and amazing people, and put simply, have fun.Garbanzo offers you more than just competitive wages, flexible schedules and a wide variety of responsibilities; its where youll also enjoy a great atmosphere, fresh ingredients, great food, amazing people, and a fun, supportive culture with a strong commitment to promote from within.Job Responsibilities: Train and develop all team membersFollows food safety and sanitation guidelinesHave a working knowledge of Profit and Loss StatementsManage inventory and complete weekly reporting Deliver excellent guest service as you supervise the restaurantManage the opening and closing of the restaurant Maintain product quality and accurate inventoryFollow cash handling procedures, ordering, invoice management, reporting and general securityBe comfortable sharing your knowledge about our ingredients, entrees and other menu itemsTreat each guest like they are family and give them outstanding, friendly serviceDevelop a positive working relationship with team members, vendors and guests Skills You Need for the Job: 2 year of previous restaurant experience, minimum of 2 years in a supervisory positionPrevious experience in team management and guest relationsExperience in food preparation, cash handling, labor management, and inventoryDemonstrated and proven ability to train and motivate employeesWillingness to work varied hours and days, including nights, and weekends (if youre flexiblewere flexible)2+ years of restaurant management experience in a quick service, fast casual or casual dining environment * A valid state drivers license and occasional local travel required for training and meetings * A satisfactory background check required * Able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time, move/lift items some of which may be heavy up to 50lbs * Must maintain confidential information, adhere to and enforce company policies, programs, and compliance issues. * Must be at least 21+
