The A51 Terrain Park is famous for its unique features and has been honored with numerous awards, including #2 Terrain Park by Transworld Magazine and #3 Terrain Park by Freeskier Magazine. A51 boasts 60 acres with over 100 features and a park specific lift.

Job Duties:

Maintains and assists in constructing terrain park features, which includes hand shaping, shoveling, raking, setting up & breaking down the park, etc. Maintains fences and signage. Assists in preparing park for special events, by organizing and setting up tents,banners, flags, etc. Monitors park for possible safety issues, corrects or advises Lead or team Lead. Test park features in compliance with safety guidelines. Advises and assists guests including but not limited to guest services, education and safety awareness. This is a very labor intensive position.

Job Qualifications:

  • 1 or moreyears experience working in aTerrain Park- Preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid US driver's license with an acceptable record
  • Able to pass a Level 8 Ski and Ride Test at Keystone
  • Maintain a flexible schedule for day and night shifts including weekends, holidays, etc
  • Work 10 hours a day outside in all weather conditions and at high elevations
  • Able to lift 100 lbs and walk up and down steep pitches.
  • Be an advanced or expertskier or snowboarder (capable of riding 75% ofTerrain Park Features in A51)
  • Able to hand shape take offs, and work with variety of tools
  • Knowledge of A51 and Keystone Mountain
  • Strong communication with other departments and works well as a team
  • Previous experience working in Guest Relations - Preferred
  • Welding, construction or carpentry experience - Preferred

The budgeted range starts at 12.32-13.51 .Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
