Beverage Manager
Dallas, TX

Salary: $60000 - $65000

DESCRIPTION:

Seeking an experienced Beverage Manager for a new lifestyle hotel opening in Dallas, TX. Location will offer 219 guest rooms including 52 suites, 2 defining dining options and 20,000 sf of stunning event space. Other amenities will include a resort style pool, custom curated fitness facility, spa, and dog park.

The Beverage Manger will be responsible for all aspects of the beverage programming on property.

Responsible for maintaining inventory and supplies as necessary to support operations, as well as communicating and coordinating with any and all operating departments.

Responsible for maintaining company equipment, identifying and enforcing the maintenance of company assets and equipment through handling and storage, working to reduce loss of company property.

Responsible for ensuring that pool bar and any other bar operations meet the regulatory Health Department standards for cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.

Establish and maintain quality wine, beer, and cocktail product and service levels while maximizing profits

Monitor budget and maintain high levels of internal and external guests' satisfaction.

Maintain beverage costs. Adapt to the ever changing trends in the beverage world

Creation of cocktails from the details of bitters to added herbs

Understanding of Local, regional, world wine & beer knowledge

Conduct monthly inventories to track monthly shortages and equipment needs.

Review cost increases communicate with vendors to review charges and apply strategies to lower costs when possible.

Analyzes and evaluates beverage department profits and loss statements and makes recommendations as to alternative courses of action.

Responsible for the ordering of all supplies as necessary to support hotel pool bar and other bar operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a pulse on current and future beverage programming trends locally and nationally.

Previous experience with beverage programming from inception to execution.

Vendor relations with activations and collaboration.

Boutique/Lifestyle/Nightlife beverage experience.

This is not a bar manager role.

Culinary or College Degree in the hotel, restaurants and/or hospitality fields.

Luxury Hotel and hospitality experience a plus!
