I have held director and assistant director positions in the food and beverage departments of the W Hotel, Sheraton/ Westin, and the Warwick hotel in San Francisco. I have thorough experience with all aspects of Bookkeeping budgetary functions, including QuickBooks, Payroll, Receivables and Payables, Inventories, Special Journals and Controls, Financial Statements, and Recording Adjustments, and closing and reversing entries. I also have experience with employee management, special event planning, monthly budgeting and profit/loss statements. In addition to my hotel experience, I have most recently worked as director of food services at Kaiser Hospitals. There, I managed and overseen 5 units as well as 150 personnel, and took each unit between $70K-$150K per month loss to profitability within the first seven months.
I am very personable and capable of using either a persuasive style or a tone of direct command in my communications. When I deal with a concept, I look at its general makeup rather than its specific details. I am aggressive, highly competitive, independent, and need to see results.
