PRG Hospitality Group is hiring for the Chef position to oversee the restaurants at two of the top boutique hotels in Palm Springs, Sparrows Lodge and Holiday House. This position is a unique opportunity to lead the culinary program at hotels which appeal to a discerning, well traveled guest. We are seeking a passionate and creative Chef. This role will have expansive creativity with a focus on fresh ingredients, solid technique/execution, scratch cooking and simple yet delicious food. F&B operations include all-day restaurant, poolside dining, IRD and events. Qualified chef candidates will have a background overseeing respected restaurants and preferably hotels (with chef-driven restaurants). A strong foundation in culinary technique as well as a solid palate is imperative. Must have understanding of administrative responsibilities including food cost/labor costing and P&L. Event experience is strongly preferred. Actively considering up and coming ambitious Chefs that have not been an executive chef before, but must have prior management experience as a #2 in a Senior Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine role.
