Kitchen Porter
Pok Pok Portland, OR, USA
Were in search of a new kitchen porter to join the team at SE Division location. Whats a kitchen porter, you ask? We could say its a dishwasher, but that could be pretty misleading. When you work at Pok Pok, your responsibilities are broader and your opportunities greater than that meager title can fully capture. Plus, we have pathways in place for this role to rise to other positions within the company, based on your interests and desires to help build our brand with us. Here's the nitty gritty:What we need:o Someone with a hospitality-first mindset. That means, whether youre dealing with guests or other team members, you go out of your way to be kind and considerate.o Someone who attacks all tasks with enthusiasm.o Someone who is eager to help out wherever possible, even if that means stepping outside of what might be expected.o Someone who is reliable and accountable in all things. What you have:o A positive attitude at all times, even when things get a little hectic or loud.o An appetite for continually learning more about our menu and our brand, even exploring outside your expected duties in an effort to become a true Pok Pok champion.o A need for order and cleanliness that borders on obsessive. Well before our customers taste our delicious dishes, their first impressions are formed by what they can see and smell.o Ideally, you have 1-2 years of recent high-volume experience and a current Multnomah County Food Handlers Card.Working Conditions:Lets be honest, this job is physically demanding.
