Position Overview: mezeh is seeking an Administrative Assistant of Construction to be stationed in the Fairfax, VA headquarters to assist the Construction Manager in his day-to-day tasks as mezeh continues to rapidly expand its footprint (with 8+ locations under construction Fall 2020). Job Responsibilities: Schedule, attend, and take minutes at all construction meetings Help prepare budgets for upcoming projects Keep track of construction supplies Act as the point of contact for contractors, property managers, suppliers, etc. Prepare financial documentation Do essential bookkeeping Negotiate pricing Pay approved invoices to contractors and suppliers Address any billing or ordering issues Provide reports to management on a weekly basis Required Skills: 5+ years in construction related jobs 3+ years in food service Strong communicator Exceptional organization Time management abilities Responsible and reliable Fluency in English and Spanish required Full time, PTO and health insurance provided.
