MIAMI SEAQUARIUM Assistant Food & Beverage Manager - Full Time Basic Function: Assumes full responsibility for operationsof all food outlets in the absence of the Food & Beverage Manager. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. To assist in scheduling of all employees. 2. To assist in the training of all F&B staff. 3. To insure that the food outlets are run in anefficient manner and proper service is offered at all times. 4. To organize and supervise the entire staff. 5. To schedule regular meetings with his supervisors& employees. 6. To set up a control system that will insure qualityand portion consistency. 7. To control labor costs and carry out alladministrative functions pertaining to forecasting, payroll, scheduling, recruiting, etc. 8. To maintain a good and reliable staff and to motivate,train and promote personnel with potential. 9. To aid and influence policies and procedurespertaining to purchasing. 10. To consider changes or replacement for equipment,fixtures, and procedures throughout the department. 11. To maintain safe working conditions for allemployees. 12. To be responsible for proper cleanliness andsanitation of kitchen and equipment, and for the maintenance of proper sanitation standards inaccordance with the health code. 13. To insure that all opening and closing procedures areadhered to at all times. 14. To supervise cashiers in the units and insure thatall cash handling procedures are adhered to at all times. 15. To insure the cleanliness of all front and back ofthe house areas. 16. To requisition all supplies needed for the units andthat adequate stock and operating supplies levels are maintained. 17. To identify and correct all potential safety hazards.To enforce all safety policies and procedures. 18. To handle guest complaints whenever necessary. 19. To assist in the department's loss preventionprograms. 20. To resolve any and all Team Member problems with theassistance of the department manager and the HR manager.
