The Opportunity Manage and assist the work activities of housekeeping staff to ensure a clean, orderly and attractive hotel to ensure a memorable experience for our guests. Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take appropriate action. May purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, screen applicants, train new employees, and recommend dismissals. Inspect assigned areas in order to provide feedback to management and employees on the cleanliness and maintenance of those areas against standards. Weekend and Holiday availability is required Responsibilities Manage the performance of room attendants, houseperson and cleaning attednants; take appropriate action to correct deficient conditions, behavior, and work practices. Inspect guest rooms, guest areas and employee areas and assess compliance with all established standards as they relate to cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security. Report, as directed, any observed deviations to established standards. Produce schedules for employees in accordance with staffing guides/productivity requirements. Review and adjust staffing daily to ensure optimum staffing levels. Review assignments of employees and make adjustments. Effectively communicate throughout the day with the Front Office Team and other departments to ensure optimal performance and guest satisfaction. Monitor consumption and order replacement of guest and cleaning supplies. Manage administrative functions in accordance with established standards. Qualifications Associate's degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.1-3 years related experience and/or training. Previous supervisory experience preferred.Expereince in the hotel and lodging expereince highly desireable.
