HOSPITALITY STUDIO DIRECTOR Kimberly Timmons Interiors (KTI) is seeking a Hospitality & Commercial Studio Director to join our growing Denver team! We specialize in Hospitality Design, Interior Merchandising and Residential Design. KTI is filled with lively, meticulous people who love design and collaboration. The Hospitality & Commercial Studio Director works closely with the Principal to make significant business decisions for KTI, oversees the Hospitality/Commercial Studio and acts as business partner and mentor to the other Studio Directors. This role will oversee, and actively participate in leading a team of Project Managers and Designers through multiple, simultaneous KTI projects at various stages of completion. What You'll Do: Oversee all projects within the department to ensure activities occur on schedule, within budget, aligned with design intent; responsibilities include managing schedule, budgets, deadlines and project parameters from schematic design phases to procurement, through construction and installation. Respond to potential client inquiries and RFPs and create proposal fee letters for client consideration & participate, with the Principal, in initial client presentations. Responsible for maintaining deliverables that adhere to KTI's award winning standards from the design to completion meeting the client's vision, budget, schedule and quality expectations. Provides daily management and oversight for the department including hiring, training, professional development and performance reviews. Creates contracts to set and manage the budget and payment schedule for each project; responsible for understanding, updating and reporting on monthly cash flow projections Ideal Candidates Will: Have earned a BFA or BS in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA (formally FIDER) accredited program Bring 8 years' relevant experience with minimum 2 years prior supervisory experience Possess a high level of original, creative, forward thinking design aptitude, capable of translating concepts to renditions and construction documents Have the ability to travel in and out of state on a regular basis Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite Prior experience wtih Revit, Spexx, InDesign Illustrator, Sketch Up Adobe Photoshop a plus Have working knowledge of QuickBooks (preferred, not required) Possess a high degree of time management and organization skills Have the ability to manage issues and present viable solutions to the team to solve problems Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills Be a quick learner who takes initiative, can multitask, prioritize and follow through Work well under pressure and is able to tolerate interruptions and redirection Demonstrate an attention to detail and accuracy Work well independently and as a collaborative member of the team What We Offer: Kimberly Timmons Interiors offers competitive pay, an exceptional benefits package, dog friendly environment, flexible schedules and support for continuing education and professional development.
