Summary: Well-established SE Portland entertainment destination is looking for a Front of House Manager to oversee Food and Beverage operations. 5 day, 45 hours work week with a great compensation package. Come work at one of the funniest places in Portland and actually look forward to coming to work!Job Responsibilities:Follow our Mission and Vision statement by making guest satisfaction our highest priority.Oversee Servers, Runners, and Bartenders/Bar BacksEnsure all new team members follow established training guides.Maintain high team member morale through positive reinforcement/feedback.Prepare team member reviews and appraisals.Proactively interact with guests every shift, and ensure all questions or issues are resolved in a professional and timely manner.Ensure consistent recipe execution and product presentation.Propose new menu ideas and provide feedback to the general managerAct as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts.Execute all aspects of group events from logistics to day of operations.Ensure all Food and Beverage safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to Oregon Health Department regulations.Optimize profits by controlling food, beverage, and labor costs.Ensure safe service of alcohol by following OLCC guidelines. Increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution.Perform daily walkthroughs of the facility to ensure proper cleanliness standards are being upheld.Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Perform all other duties as assigned by the general manager.Qualifications:Three years of hospitality experience required and two years of management experience is preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills.Strong coaching, training, and motivation skills.Able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Very organized and detail-oriented.Must have a valid Food Handlers & OLCC card or be able to obtain one prior to the date of hire.Frequent standing, walking, and moving between tight spacesAbility to frequently lift up to 25lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs.
