In celebration of its 10th anniversary, North Block, winner of Travel & Leisure's World's Best and Condé Nast Traveler Reader's Choice awards re-debuts as a unique and dynamic food, wine, and lodging experience in Yountville, a world-renowned culinary destination.This Spring, North Block emerged as a singular destination for food, drink and lodging with the opening of a new restaurant. Chef Nick Tamburo who joins North Block from Manhattan's Momofuku Ko, brings a fresh energy to Yountville with his take on refined California cooking featuring locally grown, seasonal ingredients.North Block offers a seamless experience that is refined but relaxed by combining sophisticated design with eclectic elements, attentive service that is personal, and a menu that is refined and elevated but does not take itself too seriously. The menus will be driven by the seasonal ingredients procured from farmers and ranchers within its Wine Country radius. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:· Two years' restaurant experience· Two years' experience in a food preparation position· Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.· Food Handlers Certification· Food Safety Certification PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:· High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate· Certification of culinary training or apprenticeship· Ability to communicate in a second language, preferably Spanish.· Sanitation certificate.North Block is a part of Mosaic Hotel Group's collection of award-winning, boutique hotels, and restaurants.
