JOB SUMMARY : In a fast-paced, multi-state organization, the Corporate Executive Chef, in partnership with the team, will oversee training and development of our culinary teams through the implementation of systems, standard operating procedure (SOP's), and training programs to ensure consistency at all locations. Travel will be required as needed based on the needs of the business. QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with developing standardized schedule and staffing pars for culinary teams, ensuring compliance Develop and launch skills assessment templates/tools for initial and continued analysis of culinary teams Coach and mentor Executive Chefs/Sous Chefs to effectively and consistently train and develop their teams Implement necessary changes within culinary setup and production processes to improve and ensure food quality, consistency, safety, sanitation, and overall BOH efficiency Develop process implementation, including SOPs and training videos and materials, to ensure product knowledge, skill refinement, and consistent dish execution Work with BOH leaders and HR/Recruitment to proactively communicate staffing needs and gaps as well as opportunities to develop current team members through Bamboo Sushi's career development path Collaborate with the Culinary Director and team to provide input for menu items from an execution and training Respond rapidly to highly complex challenges where solutions may not be obvious Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands and meet deadlines; be detailed and organized Excellent ability to effectively communicate and interpersonal skills, including ability to manage communications and working relationships between all departments within the organization High integrity and openness Highly motivated with an inquiring mind and passion for excellence Other duties as assigned 10+ years of experience in a high-volume, scratch kitchens, sushi experience preferred Secondary Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Maintain strict job-related confidentiality, attend trainings as necessary, manage workload and prioritize tasks Model leadership and work ethic by demonstrating objectivity, neutrality, and calmness under pressure Always act with the highest level of ethics and integrity, take on new responsibilities and goals Actively solicit input, provide evaluation, and feedback and offer constructive feedback when necessary Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage communications, learn quickly, and build relationships with all levels of the organization Ability to handle multiple demands, work under pressure, and meet deadlines Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation Must comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures CONFIDENTIALITY: Due to the sensitive nature of the information dealt with, all job-related information will be held in strictest confidence unless otherwise directed by the Culinary Director or CPO.
