Executive Chef - Global Hotel Brand Location: USA Salary: Competitive depending on location and experience The Client: Our client is a global hotel brand that is known for their luxury 5-star resorts and hotel operations. The Role: We are currently seeking Executive Hotel Chefs to over see large culinary departments in luxury 5* hotels. The ideal Executive Chef candidate will have experience working within the reputable, luxury resorts. Chefs will be creative and have in depth knowledge of current industry trends. Successful candidates will be goal oriented and have the ability to manage large teams. Responsibilities: The Executive Chef will report to the Director of Food & Beverage and Hotel General Manager Manages department heads such as Sous Chefs, Banquets Managers and Stewards Oversees all F&B / Culinary outlets in the hotel which includes the main restaurant, in-room-dining and banquets Actively ensures the appropriate training and development of culinary staff Ensures teams adhere to recipes in order to maintain consistency and ensure quality Controls food cost and production, ensuring proper rotation, labeling, and storing of food Ensures that teams are preparing food in accordance with hotel and government Food Safety guidelines Ensures the kitchen work area is clean and organized Sources local ingredients for seasonal food items Required Qualification: Minimum 3 years of experience at an Executive Chef level Minimum 5 years experience in a luxury hotel or related field Must be proficient in both a la carte and production cooking Must show proven people skills in leading a large Culinary department COREcruitment are experts in recruiting for Hospitality, Catering, Leisure, Retail, FM, Property and Construction sectors.
