A Minnesota-based neighborhood bar & restaurant has a rewarding opportunity to lead its culinary team as Executive Chef. Located just west of Minneapolis, this location serves three meals a day, and bites in-between. Menu items include classic breakfast fare, woodfired-oven specialties, lunch specials, classic dinner entrees, and happy-hour must-haves. This is a high-volume concept - but the work environment is fun, solid support and systems are in place, and staff turnover is low. The menu has a lot of mainstays, but there is room for creativity with specials and seasonal changes. Ideal candidates have: 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, high-pressure, full-service concept in a leadership role. High-level knowledge of kitchen systems and controls. Strong leadership capabilities. The ability to maintain high staff morale and professionalism in a (very) high-volume kitchen. This position comes with a highly competitive compensation package, including a starting salary as high as $75k, plus comprehensive insurance, other benefits, and perks.
