Job Summary Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation. Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation. Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation. Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures. Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards. Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces. Removes trash and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Helps load and unload supplies and product. Performs other duties as assigned. The Dishwasher and general utility position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Understanding the knowledge of safety and sanitation Must be dependable Must be able to work well in a fast paced environment Must be able to work in a team environment Must be able to take direction Position Responsibilities: Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine Sort and stack clean dishes Change dishwater in dish machine every hour Wash pots, pans and trays by hand Remove trash and garbage to dumpster Set up or break down dishwashing area Clean and roll/unroll mats Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions Sweep/mop floors Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry Full compliance with the Department of Health regulations Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Hiring for both AM and PM Shifts About Troon Troon started as one facility in 1990 and has since grown to become the world's largest professional club management company.
