Job Overview: This position has the responsibility for developing the strategies, implementing the plans and managing the execution needed to allow our brands to grow and proper within the critical casino trade channel. This role will involve meeting with and developing/maintaining relationships with the key corporate level decision makers for each casino ownership group. This role will include the management of a sales team of local casino managers tasked with the execution only of these corporately developed national programs. The casino channel is the major trade channel for several of our most profitable brands - Remy Martin XO and Louis XIII, so this position is highly visible within the organization and the incumbent will require solid marketing and finance skills as a considerable amount of cross-functional work will be required in developing casino specific national programming. The position is national in scope and requires a superior skill set in establishing high level relationships, and a professional and proactive approach, in order to achieve its goals. The ability to coordinate with activities with the RCUSA field sales organization and local distributors will also be essential to success. In Addition, this position will have a Regional Accounts Manager as a direct report. Job Responsibilities: Take the lead in identifying opportunities to develop our brands within the critical casino channel. This should be done through the careful analysis of industry trends, the monitoring of competitive activity, understanding the demographics of the casino customer, and research into the strategies and needs of each major casino ownership group. Develop/maintain a solid working relationship with the chief decision maker for beverage purchasing at each major casino ownership group. Build a relationship based on win/win programming in order to be viewed as the Premium Choice supplier for that casino group to approach when they need creative and well targeted promotions. Cross functionally work with sales, marketing and finance to identify brand needs, develop brand plans and evaluate programming effectiveness and ROI. Be active and take leadership roles within industry trade events and casino special events to ensure that Remy Cointreau USA is considered the premium brand solution for these casino buyers. Identify and develop new business opportunities with the major American Indian owned casino groups such as Hard Rock in FL, the Mohegan Sun in CT and the numerous casinos in Minnesota. Identify and develop new business opportunities with the river boat casino operations such as the ones currently operating in Illinois and Iowa. Establish a solid working knowledge of Diver in order to measure and evaluate performance of any direct reports as well as effectiveness of any directly initiated programming. Must be open to very flexible working hours including extensive travel up to 50% of time on job. Conduct all activities in full compliance of all state/federal regulations, as well as company policies and ensure all direct reports do so as well. Must be able to manage and work within any/all budgets given, without exceeding. Plans developed must show financial resources needed, as well as what the plan will generate as a return. Prior approval may be required from VP National Accounts/Casinos or brand marketing, depending on the budget and level of spending required. The position will have assigned volume budgets, broken out by brand. Must be able to work effectively, professionally, with people in a wide variety of capacities (Field Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance). Must be able to develop strong, effective, professional rapport with all levels of decision makers, in casino operations, as well as our key distributor partners. This position requires a highly experienced individual, with a very professional approach, to the business. He/she must be a strong communicator, both written and oral, with excellent follow-up skills, who can successfully motivate people to act, even though they do not report directly to them. Job Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Business Degree - marketing or finance preferred. 7 - 10 years in beverage alcohol industry - Must have high level of brand knowledge as well as understanding of the demographics of the casino customers. Casino channel experience - specifically with multi-unit operators Preferred Qualifications: Proven ability to develop and successfully implement brand building plan Superior computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Diver) Strong communication and follow-up skills Must be able/willing to travel as job requires - 50%+ of time.
