This position will provide leadership and oversight of the dining department at various long-term care communities in the area and will require travel. The dining departments provide a home-like environment for residents needing Assisted Living, Skilled Long-Term Nursing Care, or Short-Term Rehabilitation following illness or surgery and also Independent Living, based-upon the community that is currently being supported. The individuals who will expand on our mission to "Improve the quality of life for all that we serve" will have experience in high volume environments of $500,000.00 managed volume or more, and experience managing large teams with multiple priorities. We are seeking a Chef Manager who has the following skillset: Culinary degree and/or a minimum of 5 years running a kitchen; Strong Supervisory skills; Healthcare, hospitals or senior living experience; Strong knowledge of sanitation guidelines, inspections and HACCP protocols; Modified/special diets understanding preferred; have high expectations for quality of food and presentation; have the ability and willingness to develop and train employees. The best-qualified candidate will consistently provide: a positive customer service driven environment, drives employee engagement and customer satisfaction through strong leadership skills.
