The Opportunity Delaware North Gaming is hiring a Cage Cashier to join our team at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. Cage Cashiers handle large amount of currency, cash checks, redeems tickets, and vouchers, to guests in a professional manner displaying a high standard of guest service. Responsibilities Handle large sums of money in an accurate manner, including validating tickets for guests and paying accordingly, distributing cash to associates for jackpots and hand-pays, processing and verifying travelers checks, providing check approval, check cashing service and cash advance services. Maintain an accurate count of bank. Perform regular cash buys to Cage Supervisor. Issue and redeem chips, process chip fills and credits. Perform as a team member and assist fellow employees to ensure a smooth operation. Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Experience handling large amounts of money. Able to obtain a NYS Gaming License Six months cash handling experience preferred. Excellent organization and guest service skills. Excellent math skills including addition and subtraction. Basic computer skills preferred. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds. Exposure to high volume noise.
