Looking for a kitchen that balances professionalism and quality of life, while maintaining the presence of a Chef driven restaurant?Farallon has been a top 100, Michelin recommended, James Beard nominated restaurant, and has continued to push the boundaries of fine dining in local seafood.Candidates should have serve safe or food handlers certification (if not, we can assist in acquiring). ?Desire to work with, taste and learn about local products with a heavy emphasis on seafood.All employees are trained on?the following stations: raw bar, pantry/garde manger, hot appetizers, saute, and wood-fire grill. ?Responsibilities include:Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance?to Farallon standardsStock and maintain sufficient levels of mise en place on the lineMaintaining a clean and sanitary work environmentAbility to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of timeMaintain a level of respect for the ingredients you're working with and the team around youAble to communicate well with the teamThis is Dinner position only (we are only open for dinner).Experience in a full service fine dining restaurant is extremely helpful.Able to work Holidays and Weekends, although, we are closed Sundays and Mondays; as well as January 1st & 2nd, Superbowl Sunday, Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas 24th & 25th.Interested applicants please submit your resume.If experience is limited and you're looking for a more entry level position, please take a few moments and describe what you are looking for.All stages (working interviews) are paid San Francisco minimum wage for their time spent with us.
