We are seeking a Head Baker - Executive Pastry Chef to join our team!

  • Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
  • Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
  • Check freshness and quality of ingredients
  • Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
  • At least 1-2 year experience as Head Baker or Pastry Chef
  • Professional cake baking experience
  • Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of cost and labor systems
  • Passion for food and cooking techniques
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ordering for the pastry department
  • Prepare ingredients needed for recipes of pastry
  • Supervise any hourly pastry shop employees
  • Implementing all elements of daily bakery and pastry production
  • Develop brand name of desserts/pastries
  • Creating puff pastry, croissants, and Danish pastries
  • Assist in overseeing pastry team members and preparing dessert menu offerings for guests
  • Prepare all bread, pastry and dessert items for line service and catering
  • Oversee all operations for pastry production at the store
  • Maintain bread, pastry, and dessert supplies by purchasing ingredients
  • Oversee and manage all areas of the bakery and restaurant pastry production
  • Prepare all pastry and dessert items for buffet, banquet and restaurant use according to standard recipes
  • Decorate pastries/cakes with creativity and skill
  • Supervise the production of pastries and desserts for the outlet
  • Maintain food quality standards including consistency and presentation
  • Prepare pastry items according to prescribed recipes
  • Prepare various bakery desserts for the bakery showcase
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends in the world of pastry and baking
  • Lead and coordinate activities of all pastry cooks and externs
  • Oversee and participate in all pastry production and operations
